| It is often said that the first casualty of any war is the truth. It therefore reasonable to assume the history of that wars is, at the best, part truth. Much of written is therefore suspect. Much of the written history of humans has been about war and conflict. Those who fail to learn the lessons of history are condemned to repeat the errors. When preparing for war historians are often called in to write the desired history. The history that survives is the history of the victors. The following pages unmask or give another side to history.
It is hoped that this study which I did in 1960 will be of interest to students of the history of this period
